14.5 % ABV, Three Floyds Brewing, Munster, Indiana.
Deep darkness, fully black, small brown head, complete opacity.
In the nose: all the goodies…Smokey, oaky, caramel, toast, vanilla, charcoal, marshmallow, whiskey…all the good stuff.
In the mouth: thick and oh, so rich. Chocolate, caramel, smoke, bourbon and more. Vanilla and cherry (if a touch)…Ridiculously indulgent. And now is the time that I shut up, lean back and luxuriate.
From the brewery: Dark Lord Imperial Stout aged for over a year in bourbon barrels. New variant brewed to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Three Floyds.
