Lupulin Hen Pecks Fruited Wheat Ale

Lupulin Hen Pecks Fruited Wheat Ale.

5.5% ABV, 13 IBU, Lupulin Brewing, Big Lake, MN.

Highly hazed, bright crimson hue, long-lasting pinkish head.

In the nose: Strawberry? Raspberry? Nothing but berries and tart.

In the mouth: crisp, brisk, refreshing, fruity. Not to mention smooth. And not too tart, not too sweet, either. Medium bodied. Ends on a dry note. I’m enjoying this one.

This beer is brewed in honor of Melissa, AKA Mother Hen, who not only deals with our shenanigans, but battles MS on a daily basis.  She loves raspberries and strawberries about as much as she loves us, so we brewed this fruited wheat ale. It's sweet and a little tart, just like her.  A portion of proceeds will be donated to the National MS Society to help her fight this clucking thing.
