In the nose: deep barrel, utter richness, molasses and vanilla, incredible depth.
In the mouth: malty to the max. Hugeness incarnate. I want to go back in time and buy another 4-pack before they sold out. To last and last. Ah, to dream. Big blackstrap, maximum oak, traces of vanilla, and not quite as much smoke as you’d expect for a Hammerheart beer. Rich and delicious. Approaching a BBA RIS, And yet not, quite.
