Revolution Unsessionable Imperial India Pale Ale

Revolution Unsessionable Imperial India Pale Ale. 6 Hop varieties: Centennial, Cascade, Galaxy, Chinook, Amarillo, Citra.

10% ABV, 100 IBU. Revolution Brewing, Chicago, IL.

Now, that Revolution Brewing of Chicago, IL is at last in our local market, let’s celebrate with their first appearance in the Nib in many years, and let’s make it a big one. There will be more to come, very soon.

Clear, bright golden hue, large, lush, lace-leaving head, looking gorgeous.

In the nose: fragrant, floral, citrus and pine aplenty. Oncoming threat of dankness apparent. Robust hop attack.

In the mouth: Pow! Big and sticky. Richly resinous. Deep reservoirs of juicy and bitter hop flavors bubble up and flood the palate. Huge, citrusy, with a bunch of grapefruit, orange, lemon, apricot, mango & more bouncing about in a mad display among the senses. High alcohol starts to emerge and splash about. Juicy and bitter and highly diggable. I thoroughly enjoyed this beast.

One of the biggest and baddest IPAs we've ever made. Six hope varieties including tons of Galaxy infuse this giant IPA with flavors and aromas of pine, passion fruit, and citrus rind. Drink it fresh.
