Moosbacher Schwarze Weisse

Moosbacher Schwarze Weisse Dark Wheat Beer, Private Landbrauerei Scheuerer, Moosbach, Germany, 92709. Since 1887. Product of Bavaria, Germany.

Clear, caramel-y brown tint, lush, lace-leaving cocoa-toned head.

Sweet, cola-like nose. Hints of raisins and plum. Malty, with a slice of spice.

Tasting it: Clean and even malty mouthfeel. Flavors of cocoa and nuts. Minor hops. Smooth wheat character comes through, very scrumptious.

Don't ask me what separates a schwarze weisse from a dunkel weisse, though. Maybe they're the same?
