Note: I drank the contents of the bottle without reading what it actually was.
Dark brown, nearly black, full, rich, thick cocoa-toned head, leaving lace, looking fantastic.
Aromatics: clean, sweetish, fruit-y-a-little-bit, with a little funk and sour beneath, and a whiff of chocolate malt.
Taste: In the mouth, it's a sweet thing, followed by some weird funky stuff. Oaky tannins stay on top of the flavor profile, with sweet and sour keeping a constant tango. Chocolate-y malt holds it down, caramel and toffee-isn tinges, too, with the wild and the sour holding over it. No hops at all.
Tasty stuff.
I liked this, a lot. Odd that I didn't pick out the cranberries, though. Mark it up for complexity.

Ok, I'm glad to hear we weren't the only ones who didn't read the bottle before cracking it open. Good but I was expecting something different based on the name alone.
What were you expecting? Barrel= barrel, bog = cranberry.
