Venn Batch 116 El Dorado Session IPA

Venn El Dorado Session IPA. Batch 116. 4.8 % ABV. 30 IBU. Venn Brewing, Minneapolis, MN.

Hazy, bright golden hue, slim white head.

In the nose: Beautiful blend of citrus and tropical fruit notes. Grapefruit, passion, pineapple, lemon. Sightly sweet.

In the mouth: A brief blast of bitterness, then all is juicy/fruity. Lean bodied, slight finish, and just a touch bitter. Smooth, nearly creamy, and ending on a bit of a dry note. Quite likable.

What if I didn't like assertively hoppy, smack-you-up IPAs? Then, maybe, I'd drink a ton of this.

Lemon zest, lime zest, grapefruit zest.
A New England style session IPA featuring El Dorado hops.

Malts: White Wheat, Domestic Pale, Flaked Oats.
Hops: El Dorado.
Yeast: American Ale.
