Clown Shoes Mango Farm IPA

Clown Shoes Mango Farm IPA.

5.75 % ABV. Clown Shoes Beer, Boston, MN.

Lightly hazed, bright golden hue, slim white head.

In the nose: nicely hopped, with plenty of mango peeking through. Some citrus lurks below.

In the mouth: First sip in, I'm unimpressed. Kind of a dud, and a rare miss from Clown Shoes. Neither the mango aspect or the IPA side of things really delivers. Just a little bit juicy, and hardly at all hoppy.

Is it old? Let's look at the bottom of the can: Best by: 1/31/22. So, we've got a few weeks to go.

Am I being too hard on this beer? No. It lacks life. Does not engage the palate in the slightest. Alas and alack.

This crisp and juicy IPA hits the spot like a freshly picked mango on a hot summer day. Mango puree and a hop bill including Mosaic, Cascade, Azacca, and Simcoe make Mango Farm an oasis of fresh fruit flavor.
