Toppling Goliath West Coast Sue India Pale Ale with Citra and Mosaic hops.
6.5 % ABV, Toppling Goliath Brewery, Decorah, Iowa.
Clear, golden hued, slim white head.
On the nose: bright, citrusy hops. Sunshiny, inviting.
In the mouth: very juicy, bits of berries, lacking in bitterness, which I desire. Light bodied, easy drinking, and not nearly dry enough. Damn! I could have had a size 7!
From the brewery: Erupting from an angry sea to rain down ferocious Citra & Mosaic hops on the unsuspecting beer drinkers, West Coast Sue is making a splash. This hop-forward IPA has notes of citrus and tropical fruits with a mild bitterness in the finish.
