6.3 % ABV. 20 IBU.
Wild Mind Artisan Ale, Minneapolis, MN.
Lightly clouded, bright golden hue, slim white ring of foam.
In the nose: Big sour from the very start, fruit just below. Arresting and beautiful.
In the mouth: Tartness dominates the palate at the beginning, once more, with fruity flavors behind, and a swift, dry finish thereafter. Fruity, just a little bit juicy, with a trace of hop bitterness. Not really enough to call it an IPA, however, but it's close enough, I guess. A bit thin-bodied, but refreshing and tasty.
Good enough for me.
Blend of aged foeder beer and a fresh IPA that was hopped with Amarillo, Calypso, and Idaho 7. The blended beer was then refermented with pineapple to create a fruited sour IPA has an abundance of fruit flavor ranging from bright citrus to lush pineapple, all on top of a tart, refreshing base
