Wild Mind Verbena. New England IPA.7.6 % ABV. 30 IBU. Wild Mind Artisan Ales, Minneapolis, MN.
Thoroughly hazed, bright golden hue, slim ivory head.
In the nose: Slightly sweet, floral, briefly bitter. Citrus fruit for a bit, and a touch tropical. Lovely stuff, so far.
In the mouth: Juicy at first, turning dry. Blasts of citrus, then turning tropical, slightly and lightly bitter. Bright, brittle, blazing with bitterness, before finishing cool and dry. Medium bodied, good drinking. It's an alright NE IPA. I like it.
