In the mouth: Light, clean, slightly sweet, ultimately dry. Tasty and smooth. Light bodied, imperceptible ABV. It's good, go drink it.

Clear, bright crimson coloring, no head (naturally).

In the nose: Quite tart. Bold berry flavors. Quite fruity.

In the mouth: Tartness kicks it off, accompanied by berry & grape flavors, tons of tannins. Crisp, dry, tart, and delicious. Hey, I'd drink this again.

Here we have sample number two that I received last week from this newish cider-y in downtown Minneapolis, which I really do intend to visit soon.

Clear, pale yellow/slightly greenish, no head.

In the nose: Slightly tart, bright and apple-y. Big fruit, low sweet, nearly dry.

In the mouth: Crisp, delicious, and bone dry. Light bodied, easily drunk, and refreshing. Quite nice. If you're looking for a tart, dry one, look no further.

Tasting Notes: Champagne-like, slightly tart, hard and soft tannins

Here we go, my first Number Twelve Cider House cider. Still haven't stopped at the taproom. Still not a cider guy. But they got me some samples, so I owe them a review, or a few. And here's the first one that I grabbed out of the fridge.

Clear, greenish, no head.

In the nose: Fresh, green, fruity, floral. Lightly sweet. Nice enough.

In the mouth: Apples, Oak. Dry. Light bodied, very refreshing. Not really getting the honey. Vanishes in the finish. Not bad, though. I can drink it. But for a honey cider, I'm only getting dryness. Expecting sweet. Huh. Oh, well. Guess the oak aging took that out.
