Boulevard Chill Vibes Sour Ale with Cucumber.
4.5 % ABV. 11 IBU. Boulevard Brewing Company, Kansas City, MO.

Clear, brilliant golden hue, large ivory head, leaving lace.

In the nose: Cucumber kicks it off, sweet from the start, followed quickly by tart, nothing but cool.

In the mouth: Sour hits first, lots of pucker, then comes the sweet from the cuke. Light-bodied, easy drinking, refreshing. Like the label says: Cool, crisp, fresh. Even if the can has been in my fridge for a while. This is probably past it's season, reviewing it late because I'm lazy. Even so, it's thoroughly diggable. Utterly delightful. Go drink it.

Aromas of freshly picked cucumbers and a subtle, grassy sweetness cool everything down in this slightly tart, pale golden ale. Lively carbonation leads to a crisp, dry finish that inspires primo relaxation.

I mentioned this beer before, without naming it. I wasn't ready to retire for the evening, but I wanted another beer, yet there was nothing in the fridge that I had had before. If I haven't had a beer before, I need to write about it, here. So, I broke my vow in favor of my thirst. And then I got another sample, so I have to write about the cucumber sour. And I will, too.

Partially cloudy/hazy, pale golden color, large, lace-leaving ivory head.

In the nose: Well, there's the cucumber. And here comes the sour. That's it, in the nutshell.

In the mouth: Crisp, tart, refreshing. Fruity, too, if you can say that about a cucumber. Cool, of course, as a. Juicy, if you can say that about a cuke. Fresh and easy-drinking. Not bad.

"Drink beer outside." it says on the label. Sorry, it's raining tonight, I'm staying in.

Once again 10 Barrel gets fresh! Tonya took her award winning Berliner Weisse and added loads of cucumber flavor. The aroma is undeniably cucumber. The flavor is like biting into a crisp baby cucumber fresh from the garden. Just when you have had enough the tartness acts as a pallet cleanser leaving you ready for the next sip. Eat Beer! 

Sisyphus Is That A Cucumber In Your Pils?

This Is ITACIYP ? 2.0, I guess. I had the previous version on tap and in a growler, but did not take notes. This new batch also includes lime as well as cucumber, but the name is not changed. Recipes slightly different, but the "same" beer. It's okay, I don't think it matters. Let's drink some, alright?

Clear, bright golden hue, slim, white head.

In the nose: Lime pops out. Cucumber creeps in. Slightly sweet and citrus-y, low bitterness, nice.

In the mouth: Pow! Cucumber takes charge from the start, with lime right behind, keeping it in check.  Light bodied, clean, crisp, with a lingering malt flavor at the bottom. One thing this is for sure is tasty. If you don't care for cucumber, of course, you'd be best off staying away. Smooth and easy-drinking. The cucumber flavor grows and grows in the mouth as we drink away, with the lime aiding and abetting on the side.

Nice, nice, nice. Let's just say I like this one.
