Luce Line Ecstatic Static West Coast IPA. Simcoe, Strata, Citra Cryo, 7.5 % ABV, 55 IBU , Luce Line Brewing, Plymouth, Minnesota.
Clear, golden hued, slim white head.
In the nose: pine, citrus, berries. A little melon.
In the mouth: nice hoppy buzz on the palate, a welcome blast of bitterness. A little pine meshes with citrus and other fruity associations. Great blend of bitter with a touch of sweet, finishing highly dry. Quite enjoyable, this.
I feel that I will be returning to this one.
A modern take on West Coast IPA, Ecstatic Static is brewed with a lean malt bill and is generously hopped with Citra Cryo, Simcoe, and Strata. Expect a dry, fully saturated IPA with notes of bright orange, peach, melon, and dank, with a moderate bitterness.
