New Belgium Lips of Faith Series Dunkel Weiss, 1 pint, 6 fl. oz., Alc. 9% by vol.
Very dark appearance, nearly black, complete and utter opacity, lovely creamy tan head, large and lasting, looking great.
Aroma: banana cream pie. Boom, there it is. Soft, sweet, slightly spicy. A little bubble gum.
Taste: Big malty flavor. Dark and deep. Great little texture, dark fruit flavor coming through, a little fig, some grape, and then nicely dry. Some bits of cocoa, a beautiful mix of chocolate and dark fruit, rich and malty. Deee-licious. Tast-eeeeeee!
Can't dispute that. One flaw? That 9% a.b.v., it's roaring in now, and I wish it wouldn't. This tastes just delicious, and could have still been, without being so strong. Whoa.
