Here's a crowler I bought a month ago, reviewed a few days ago, and was still on tap a week ago, amazingly. I can imagine plenty of people shirk away when they see "12%". Their loss.Clear, bright crimson color, slim white head.
In the nose: sweet, floral, fruity. Low bitterness. Lovely stuff.
In the mouth: Full bodied, smooth and fruity. Nice bitterness, malty mouthfeel, fully fruity and flowery. So tasty and clean that the 12% slips right past me. Completely effortless. Quite delicious, this. I may have to go back for more, if it's still around.
Floral, tart, super dry.
An epic, bone-dry saison aged on hibiscus flowers.
Malts: Pilsner.
Hops: Warrior, Cascade, Centennial.
Yeast: Belgian Ale.
Other: Clear Candi Syrup, Hibiscus Flowers.
