Sisyphus Gin & Guava. 5.7% ABV. Saison aged in gin barrels, with guava puree added. Sisyphus Brewing, Minneapolis, MN.Clear, bright golden color, slim, swiftly departing head.
In the nose: Fruity phenolics. Tropical and plush. Like it.
In the mouth: Sweet and fruity. And here comes the booze. Tasty tango going on here. Plump and luscious. There's a saison here somewhere, covered in guava and gin, and it's alright. I enjoyed this one all the way down.
The latest beer to come out of our barrel room! This Saison was fermented with a Farmhouse yeast strain and then aged in local Gin Barrels (Millers and Saints). We added pureed Guava to create a truly unique brew. We will have limited bottles available ($15 - Only 24 available - Limit 2 per customer).
