Old Tankard Ale

Old Tankard Ale, Brewed by Pabst Brewing, La Crosse, Wisconsin. 5.9% all. by vol.

Clear, bright amber color, rocky head of off-white foam.

Lightly fruity/malty nose, little hops, slightly sweet n' fruity.

In the mouth: bright, sweet & malt driven. Tasty & quaffable. Medium body, nice balance. There ain't nothing wrong with it, but it's not particularly remarkable. Not a bad rendition of an English bitter. And perfectly enjoyable as that.
