Destihl Weissenheimer Hefe Weizen

Destihl Weissenheimer Hefe Weizen, Destihl Brewery, Bloomington, IL. 5.2% ABV. 16 IBU.

I've been sitting on this can for a bit, and absolutely no reason, while I enjoy it on tap at work, at Acadia Cafe. Time to crack open the can and take some notes.

Hazy orange coloring, slim white head, active carbonation.

Sweet and wheat-y aromatics, orange and lemon popping through. Banana and clove starts to peep out.

In the mouth: Snappy carbonation and weizen yeast flavors kick it off. A juicy, fruity affair, fresh and refreshing. Low bitterness, medium bodied, exceptionally drinkable. Tasty stuff, I could drink it all day long.
