Junkyard Rock the Cash Bar Vermont Style Double IPA

Junkyard Rock the Cash Bar Vermont Style Double IPA.

8 % ABV. Junkyard Brewing, Moorhead, MN.

What's a Vermont-style IPA? Are the specifically going after the New England-style IPAs made in that state? Is it a statement that they are being definitive, doing this one in the OG style? I don't know, they won't tell us. And on it goes...

Cloudy as all heck, bright yellow hue, slim white head.

In the nose: Fresh, bold, and lovely, straw, citrus, and a little pine. Floral, beautiful. Just lovely.

In the mouth: Mmm, yum. Big citrus. Restrained bitterness, lean malt, medium bodied, clean, slightly bitter finish. More tropical notes intrude into the fruity mouthfeel, but they are welcomed. Very tasty, quite delicious, ultimately refreshing and delightful.

Another Junkyard beer down, another one in the win column.

Double New England style IPA with Vic Secret, cryo Ekuanot, and Citra hops.
