Starry Eyed Glasgow Kiss Wee Heavy Scotch Ale.
9 % ABV. 23 IBU. Starry Eyed Brewing, Little Falls, MN.
Clear, dark brown color, slim to no head.
In the nose: Caramel-y sweet malty aromatics. Toffee-ish, too.
In the mouth: Rich and sweet from the get-go. Nearly chewy in it's malty mouthfeel. Low to no bitterness. Medium bodied, long malty finish. Quite delicious. I could have a few of these, if it wasn't 9%. It's almost too sweet, but almost is almost. Caramel, cocoa, toffee, and dark fruits. As is, a tasty treat that can't be beat.

Our Scottish Wee Heavy that is playfully named after a soccer term for a head butt. This is a big malty sipper. Super smooth, low on bitterness with notes of chocolate, toffee, caramel and plum/raisins. Enjoyed by this sip, it will sneak up on you. Too much too quickly and LIGHTS OUT.
