7.8 % ABV. 88 IBU.
La Dona Cerveceria, Minneapolis, MN.
Clear, dark amber/bronze hue, beautiful, rocky head of cream-toned foam.
In the nose: Soft, resinous, dank. Dripping with hoppy goodness.
In the mouth: Spark of hop bitterness kicks it off, then lush malt flavors rush to catch up. I'm getting some citrus & pine, grapefruit notes and tropical tones, and a bunch of juicy. Lingering bitterness. Medium bodied, fairly easy on the palate. Actually, it's quite tasty. All Azacca, bursting with fresh & powerful hoppiness.
With 100% Azacca hops, this hefty IPA is bursting with tropical flavors of mango, pineapple, grapefruit.
