Great Lakes Dank Demon Imperial Dank IPA.
8 % ABV, 70 IBU, Great Lakes Brewing, Cleveland, OH.
Clear, amber/crimson colored, slim white head.
In the nose: Dank and resinous, deep and sticky. Citrus splash with candied fruit.
In the mouth: Big, juicy malt commands the palate for a bit before hops take over. Prominent hop bitterness, but not too much. (Coming from me, though, others may be undone by the dankness.) Slightly sweet and succulent, flavors of grapefruit, and lime mesh with apricot and peach. Alcohol comes raining down. And I'm digging it.
Leafy layers of heady hop aromas lurk in every wicked whiff of Dank Demon's hauntingly full-bodied brew.
