7.2 % ABV, 80 IBU, NoDa Brewing, Charlotte, NC.
Clear, bright golden color, large and luminous ivory head.
In the nose: Ah! Fresh, zesty, arresting, spicy and citric. Super dank, green and grassy. Essential IPA aromatics. I'm tempted to believe we have reached perfection.
In the mouth: Hop attack begins. Juicy, then dry. High citrus and pine quotient in this one. A little bit brittle, and every way hoppy. This is no layabout, it's not soft or remotely smooth. Bitterness coats the palate and pleases this hophead on every level. Bristling with beautiful bitterness, and grassy, citrusy flavors. Lemon, grapefruit, and lime are laying it on thick.
Yum, I say, a dum dum.
