Belching Beaver Double Dichotomy West Coast Double IPA India Pale Ale

Belching Beaver Double Dichotomy West Coast Double IPA India Pale Ale.

8.1 % ABV. Belching Beaver Brewing, Oceanside, CA.

Clear, bright golden hue, large and lasting beautiful ivory head.

In the nose: Big time citrus and pine. Nothing but. Grapefruit, lemon and lime, with a rich of rind.

In the mouth: Starts just a little bit juicy, then the bitterness takes over. Hops come on strong, aided by a rush of alcohol, and it all ends dry. Medium bodied, minor malt, major hops. It all comes together. Two of my favorite styles of beer brought together in a wonderful way.

This double IPA is the glorification of opposites. Boasting hops from opposite sides of the world, Dichotomy celebrates Idaho 7 and Galaxy as its two predominant hops sprinkled with Nelson and Citra. Slightly sweet malt with true hoppy bitterness. Enjoy!
