5.5 % ABV, 16 IBU. Arbeiter Brewing, Minneapolis, MN.
Dark brown, nearly black, full opacity, large layer of brown head atop.
In the nose: Ah, nicely spicy! Is it only vanilla and chai in here? Mighty sweet and smooth, with echoes of coca and coffee beneath.
In the mouth: More of the same on the palate. Medium bodied, easily consumed, light malty finish. There's a porter under here, just below the vanilla and chai. Extra smooth and spicy. Highly likable.
The spice must flow! Chai-Hulud is a Porter whose name shall only be spoken of in awe and respect — it’s a beer eternal.
