Hammerheart Master's Table Belgian-style Table Beer

Hammerheart Master's Table Belgian-style Table Beer

5.5 % ABV. Hammerheart Brewing, Lino Lakes, MN.

Lightly clouded, deep amber color, nearly opaque, with a slim white head above.

In the nose: Fruity esters, whiff of Belgian funk. And of course, the requisite smoked malt that no Hammerheart beer shall be without.

In the mouth: Smoked malt is front and center, with hints of fruit, berries, apples, some citrus, just beneath. Appreciable amounts of hop bitterness to match the malt. Little bit of a spicy kick, here, too. Very interesting beer, more interesting that I thought it would be. Ends light and dry, but remains fully flavored. Medium bodied, long malty finish. Very tasty one.

A sessionable ale inspired by Belgian-style farmhouse table beers....fit for the Master's Table with citrus and floral aroma...the master's bouquet. In collaboration with Crypt Sermon. Original art by Mudrot.
