Utepils Decision Fatigue Pale Ale

Utepils Decision Fatigue Pale Ale.

6% ABV, 30 IBU. Utepils Brewing, Minneapolis, MN.

And here we have a variety pack exclusive from a variety pack that I didn't buy. It's nice when things just fall into your lap like that. And now to find out if it's nice when Utepils brews a pale ale.

To the eye: Clear, amber toned, slim white head.

In the nose: Malty, esters, herbal/earthy notes. More English pale ale aromatics than American.

In the mouth: More malt on the tongue, with hops on top. Some citrus, some tropical, with a bit of sweet malt and the earthy/herbal mixed in, with a twist of caramel, too. Medium bodied, long hoppy finish, a touch of the juicy, with a long, hoppy finish. Bitterness lingers. I'm liking it. Feels like a blend of APA and English. And that's a cool thing.

This delicious Pale Ale will be loaded with tropical flavors coming from the Citra, Mosaic & Motueka hops that were added in this bright, aromatic, citrus forward Pale Ale.

Simply put, this is the perfect beer for when you don't want to think about which beer you should drink.
