11% ABV, Brewery de Halve Maan, Bruges, Belgium.
Thoroughly opaque, burgundy hued, slim off-whitish head.
In the nose: Malt, yeast, fruit, rich and deep. This is Belgian. Very vinous. Every inch a quad. Dark fruit, figs and raisins, Oh, my, says George Takei.
In the mouth: Don't mind if I do. More rich Bergundian delights await on the palate. Slightly spicy, giving us the flavors of a Christmas cookie. Warm, malty, earthy, full of fruity/spicy flavors. Gingerbread. Orange and cherry. Cinnamon. So very nice.
