Bent Paddle Cosmic Lounge Hazy India Pale Ale.

6.3% ABV, 32 IBU. Bent Paddle Brewing, Duluth, MN. It’s so hazy! And it’s a dull yellow hue, with a small white head. 

In the nose: all the soft and the citrus and the yeast. I’m not too crazy about the hazies.

In the mouth: soft and smooth and citrusy, with little bitterness. Murky. Slightly sugary sweet, loads of yeast proteins. Medium bodied. Long, yeasty finish. Does not contain many of the things I desire in an IPA, therefore an excellent example of this style.

If you love hazies for the very reasons that I hate them, this is right up your alley. Don’t let me stop you from drinking it.
