More Brewing Shadows: West Coast Style India Pale Ale. Citra, Simcoe, Columbus.
6.7% ABV. More Brewing, Huntley, IL
Clear, bright golden hue, slim, milky white head.
In the nose: all the citrus and pine in it’s proper place, classic combo of West Coast hops. Grapefruit and orange, lemon and lime, with appropriate grassy notes.
In the mouth: juicy at the front, and plenty hoppy, with bitterness for days. A panoply of citrus and pine flavors, ending brittle and dry. Just the way I like them. Medium bodied, long hoppy finish, easily consumed.
Nice one, More.
Inspired by the early days of the midwestern emo music scene, this classic West Coast IPA has a dynamic blend of Citra, Columbus, and Simcoe that really showcases a bold and electric hop profile. Pensive woody resin has subtle jolt of citrus pulp quickly fades into an herbaceous ensemble that’s incredibly snappy and clean. Bold and ambitious, this IPA is a solid addition in a long lineage of stellar West-Coasts.
