A new IPA from Steel Toe and it’s...is it?...a hazy? A hazy collab? Oh, well, better than another “cold IPA”, I guess.
Hazed out, golden toned, ivory head atop.
In the nose: grassy, pin.mey, dank. Traces of tropical, plump with citrus pulp.
In the mouth: juicy and bitter at once, when it boards the palate. Citrus and tropical notes, again, mixed with a bit of berries. Nicely balanced, smooth and flooded with flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Deliciously hoppy. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness, fresh and zesty.
Giganticbery is a collaboration beer with long-time friends Hollingbery and Son Hops and Gigantic Brewing Company that brings the best of the west coast and the Midwest together in one awesome IPA. Giganticbery has yeast-driven aromas of white grape and fruit salad, then a generous dry-hop addition contributes watermelon, pineapple, and tropical notes to the juicy deliciousness.
