St. Feuillien Nine Strong Blonde Ale.
9% ABV. Brasserie St. Feuillien, le Roeulx, Belgium.
Clear, brilliant golden hue, lush, thick layer of cloud-white head atop.
In the nose: sweet fruits, sweet malt, plenty of Belgian yeast character. Banana and citrus, touch of spice.
Looks so good, smells so good, now it’s time to taste. So, in the mouth: smooth, but slightly sharp. Highly hopped, with a mild bitterness. Juicy malt, turning dry at the end. Citrus and tropical notes on the palate. Alcohol starts it’s rise. It blends well with the deliciousness.
Hey, guess what, I liked it. 10/10 would drink again.
