Oliphant Ennui’d Talus Single Hop India Pale Ale.

6.5% ABV. Oliphant Brewing, Somerset, WI.

The latest in the Ennui’d series, with another inscrutable label image. “Where are my wet, white jeans?” asks the strange green creature in the sea. Why, we don’t know. No clue. It might just be nothing but silliness.

Clear, bright golden, large and lasting ivory head. 

In the nose: lemon and lime, a pinch of pineapple, a little bit of the old piney, a touch of grapefruit. 

In the mouth: citrus bomb on the palate, spilling out lemon/lime, pink grapefruit, starting slightly juicy, ending on a dry note. Lean bodied, easy drinking, moderate  bitterness, but heavy on hop flavors. This is a tasty little guy, and I can dig it.
