5% ABV, Oliphant Brewing, Somerset, WI.
It’s early April, the perfect time to drink a beer released in, and named for, March. Don’t märzens normally come out in the fall? Oliphant doesn’t do normal.
Clear, amber hued, slim white head.
In the nose: clean, rich, malty. Slight sweetness, a little fruity.
In the mouth: crisp, smooth, full of warm, malty goodness. Low hops, good balance, some nuttiness to match the fruit. Medium bodied, long malty finish. A tasty one.
