Boom Island Bell Rock IPA

Boom Island Bell Rock IPA.
6.4 % ABV. 48 IBU.
Boom Island Brewing, Minnetonka, MN.

Lightly hazed, amber hued, slim, but lasting, white head.

In the nose: Lightly hoppy, fruity, mild. Slight caramel malt flavor. Mmm, hmm.

In the mouth: Buzz of bitterness hits the palate first. Malty goodness arrives next. Fruit makes a cameo. Crisp and clean. Medium body. Drinkable. Yep, good ol', easy-going IPA and you can drink it.

And this the part of the review where I unnecessarily admit that I could have been harder on this beer, but chose not to do that. It's not exciting, it's not bad, it just is.

A Juicy West Coast style IPA brewed Chinook and El Dorado hops.
