Dual Citizen Good Good Hazy Oat IPA.
6% ABV. Dual Citizen Breweries, St. Paul, MN.
Clouded, bright golden hue, slim white head.
In the nose: sweet, fruity, hoppy. A brace of citrus, with a good dose of tropical. Orange and citrus swallowed up by pineapple and guava.
In the mouth: blasts of bitterness right up front that I was not expecting. Juicy, citrusy mouthfeel. Nice and smooth on the palate. Easy drinker. Just enough bitterness to keep me happy. Not too much that I hate from the hazy. I’ve been avoiding this IPA for months because of the h word, all for naught.
All in all, not too shabby there. Go get some.
