Sure, we’ve all heard of the hazy IPA, but a hazy rye IPA? Who knows, I might like this one.
Lightly hazed, bright golden hue, slim layer of ivory froth.
In the nose: soft and fuzzy, serious citrus. Lemon and lime with grapefruit and pine.
In the mouth: slightly sharp, a touch of spicy malt, making peace with the juicy hop bomb on the palate. Much less rye in the flavor than I’d hoped, but it also tastes less like the average, boring, in-bitter fuzzy hazies that are everywhere.
