Lift Bridge Maibock.
7.7% ABV, 21 IBU. Lift Bridge Brewing, Stillwater, MN.
It’s July, and you’re finally getting around to the maibock, you ask of me, the great procrastinator? Yeah, well, better late than never?
Clear, bright amber hue, slim white head.
In the nose: slightly sweet, malty, a touch grainy. Minor hops.
In the mouth: crisp, clean, delicious. Mostly malty, slightly sharp, higher alcohol peeking through. Medium bodied, soft, richly rewarding. I like a good maibock and this is surely one.
Hoppier than traditional german, maris munich pilsner malts
