Clear, bright amber color, sim white head on top.In the nose: soft, lightly spicy/foral, nice hopping, very mellow.
In the mouth: crisp, crackers, just fruity enough. Moderate hop bitterness, sweet malt character. That promised effervescence is there, is some small degree. Light bodied, and delicious. Classic English ale. Liking it lots.
I could drink this like crazy and while the day away on a patio, if it still felt like summer. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow will be no rain, and ninety degrees again? Or, perhaps it's fall for good now. We just can't tell around here.
