Brewed and canned by Belching Beaver Brewing, Oceanside, CA.
I was amazed, perplexed, and delighted when I first saw this beer. A 6-pack of 16 ounce cans, 96 ounces, for $11.99. That’s unheard of. And it’s a West Coast IPA, my favorite kind. I guzzled those first five, and now it’s time to take notes on #6. And maybe get 6 more, if they haven’t sold out over the weekend.
Clear, bright golden hue, large and long-lasting brilliant ivory head. Lookin great.
In the nose: blast of citrus and pine. Grapefruit is king, with orange and lemon just behind.
In the mouth: fresh and zesty, bright and sunny, minimal malt, blessed with bitterness, overflowing with hoppy goodness. Near-perfect interpretation of the style. Good thing. I’d be sad if California breweries forgot how to make the stuff. Hop bitterness is just right here, not too hot, not too cool. Just flat out delicious.
No Worries IPA is the epitome of a true West Coast IPA, but with a twist of modern-day hops & aromas. This hop forward West Coast ale pours clear with a nice bubbly head. Aromas of dankness and tropical fruit jump from the glass. The first sip will tingle your taste buds, and as the bitterness mellows the hop flavors take over. Strata, Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops all lend their characteristics to this delightful West Coast IPA. This crisp, balanced ale will grasp at your senses and surely enlighten your day.
