9.2% ABV. Rockwell Brewing Co., St. Louis, MO.
Complete blackness, utter opacity, slim brown head.
In the nose: malty, rich, dark fruit, cocoa, gorgeous and inviting.
In the mouth: flavors from aroma unfold on the palate. Nothing but rich, smooth, chocolatey, full bodied, with a silky, malt finish. The alcohol is rising, now, bringing that pleasant feeling to the brain. Unfortunately, I’m not picking up anything foeder-y, ...maybe a touch, but ...not much.
Other than that, this my kind of beer. Bring on the Baltics!
