Junkyard Jason Waterfalls New England IPA

Junkyard Jason Waterfalls New England IPA. With Citra and Nelson Sauvignon. “Don’t Go, Jason Waterfalls!”

6.9% ABV, Junkyard Brewing, Moorhead, MN.

I abandoned my ban on hazies in order to celebrate this delicious music based pun. It’s so funny! However, it’s not exactly original. There are at least 3 other beers out there of the same name. How was I to know that this was such a popular lyrical mishearing? Enough, let’s drink a beer...

All hazed out. Dull yellow color. Small white head.

In the nose: soft and fuzzy. Citrusy. Yeasty-like.

In the mouth: A fuzzy, almost pulpy morass of an IPA. Pretty perfect rendition of the NE IPA Style, the kind I hate. As we go further, it’s brighter, happier, fruitier, white wine meets pineapple. Utterly lacking in bitterness, for those that like that, I guess.

This New England Style IPA is absolutely splashing with Citra and Nelson Sauvin Hops! Jason Waterfalls will take your tastebuds for a wild adventure starting with a cool grape and ripe berry flavor, followed by bright hints of citrus, apricot, and tangerine. The smooth, fluffy mouthfeel of this roaring IPA will leave you chasing us for more!
