Elysian Night Owl Pumpkin Ale.
6.7 % ABV, Elysian Brewing, Seattle, WA.
One more out of season seasonal. Maybe it's the last? We'll see.
Hazy, muddy, murky, small head.
In the nose: all pumpkin-y, accompanied by appropriate spice, allspice, nutmeg, etc. Cinnamon? Maybe.
In the mouth: Smooth, medium-bodied, malt forward, little hop bitterness. All pumpkinny. Spices play lightly on the palate. Just a little juicy. Here comes a bit of bitterness to balance the spice. Not too shabby of a pumpkin ale. Not too shabby at all.
